Maintenance Service Terms
Last updated: October 25, 2026
These Service Terms apply to weekly pool maintenance service. Your signed Weekly Service Agreement quote and these Terms together make up our agreement.
1. Weekly Service
Once per week, on your scheduled service day, we will skim and net the pool, brush, vacuum, empty pump and skimmer baskets, test and balance water chemistry, clean the filter as needed, and text you after each visit.
We offer weekly service only, with no other frequency. We service in-ground pools only, including a spa attached to the pool. We do not service standalone hot tubs or above ground pools.
2. Weather, Missed, and Rescheduled Visits
Service is performed to the extent weather permits. Your monthly rate is based on 4 visits per month, which is 48 billed visits per year. We strive to complete all 52 weekly visits, but the rate accounts for up to 4 missed or postponed visits per year because of severe weather, illness, or holidays. There are no refunds or credits for those visits. A missed or rescheduled visit may take up to a few days to make up because of labor delays, storms, or holiday call-outs.
3. Included Chemicals
Your monthly rate includes routine amounts of:
- Chlorine
- pH adjusters
- Alkalinity
- Stabilizer
- Calcium hardness
4. Billed Separately
These are not included and are billed separately:
- Yellow and black algae removal
- Green algae recovery, only when caused by a major storm, flooding, or debris such as paver sand or landscaping
- Salt
- Algaecide
- Chemical loss caused by leaks
- Phosphate and sequestrant treatments are billed separately. We recommend them when testing shows a need, to protect your finish and equipment.
- Salt Cell Cleaning. Salt cell cleaning is a separate service and is not included in weekly maintenance. It is $60 each time. Most cells only need it once every year or two. We clean the cell as needed, when we notice it isn't producing enough chlorine, its output can't keep up with the pool's demand, or calcium buildup has formed on the plates.
- Filter Cleaning. Routine filter cleaning is included on this schedule: single cartridge filters are cleaned every 4 weeks, quad cartridge filters every 3 months, DE filters are backwashed and recharged every 4 weeks, and sand filters are backwashed every 4 weeks. The DE powder added to recharge a DE filter is billed separately.
5. Repairs and Parts
Small repairs and parts up to $75 per item are done and billed automatically. For anything over $75, we text you for approval before doing the work.
6. Custom Services
Custom services, such as one-time cleanups or repairs, can be added by mutual agreement or invoiced separately. Custom services do not change your weekly service schedule.
7. Short-Term Rentals and Airbnb
WE DO NOT SERVICE Airbnbs OR SHORT-TERM RENTAL PROPERTIES. If we find out a property we service is an Airbnb and/or a short-term rental, service stops immediately with no refund.
8. Billing and Payment
A payment method on file is required before service starts. Your monthly rate is shown on your signed quote.
- New clients pay the first month of service before the first visit. After that, monthly service is billed on the 1st of each month.
- Payment is due upon receipt. A 3% surcharge applies to credit card payments.
- Balancing chemicals are included (see Section 3). Non-balancing chemicals, like salt, phosphate remover, sequestrant and algaecide, are billed separately on the following month's invoice.
- Small parts up to $75 per item may be installed during service without prior approval and are billed on the following month's invoice. For anything over $75, we text you for approval first (see Section 5).
You authorize us to charge your payment method on file through our online customer portal for your monthly rate, extra chemicals and small parts. If a payment is not received when due, a late fee may apply as stated on your quote or invoice, and service may be paused until your account is current.
Your first month is billed in full, even if it has fewer than 4 visits. The first month covers bringing your pool up to our standards, which can take extra cleaning and chemicals.
By paying an invoice, you acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to these Service Terms.
9. Access, Pets, and Pool Covers
Please provide access through gates and fences and keep pets secured on service day. We will text you when we are on the way. You authorize our team to remove and replace a removable safety fence to perform service. If we cannot complete a stop because of something on your side, such as a locked gate or a loose dog, the visit is still billed. Please remove pool covers before your service day. If a cover is on, we will still empty the baskets and take chemical readings, and the visit counts as completed.
10. Text Messages
By giving us a cell phone number, you authorize us to send you service-related text messages, including on-the-way and visit updates, quotes, and billing notices. We will only send marketing texts if you separately opt in. Consent is not a condition of service. Message frequency varies. Msg and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts. Opting out of texts does not affect your service. Reply HELP for help.
11. Term and Cancellation
Service is month-to-month. You may cancel anytime by text or email. Service stops at the end of your current paid month. We do not give refunds for any period already paid. We may also end service by giving you written notice.
12. Limits of Responsibility
We are not responsible for the condition of existing equipment or surfaces when service begins, damage from weather or acts of nature, problems caused by chemicals or products you add, or water loss, leaks, or water usage. We do not provide lifeguard or supervision services. You are responsible for pool safety barriers, alarms, and covers required by law, and for keeping the pump and equipment powered and running between visits. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for service in the prior month, except where Florida law does not allow this limit.
13. Changes to These Terms or Your Rate
We may update these Terms or your monthly rate by giving you at least 30 days notice by email. If you keep service or keep paying after the change takes effect, you accept the change. If you do not agree, you may cancel under Section 11.
14. General
Florida law applies. Electronic signatures and approvals are valid and binding. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
